Dialogue on Education and Resistance
On Saturday, September 6 at 6 PM, at the Centro per la Cultura in Merano (on the terrace, weather permitting), a public conversation will take place featuring Tiziana Morgante, who will present her recent book "Educare e disobbedire: in dialogo con Danilo Dolci" (Educate and Disobey: In Dialogue with Danilo Dolci).
The dialogue will draw connections with insights from Peter Mayo’s latest work, "Culture, Power and Education. Representation, Interpretation, Contestation", with the author himself present as a guest of the PEA – Pedagogy, Ecology and The Arts Conference.
The event will be moderated by Sabina Langer and Nazario Zambaldi.
This initiative offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the transformative power of education, disobedience as civic action, and the role of cultural resistance in contemporary societies.
